Meet Bud

Bud was my cactus. The most handsome in all the land. His favorite activities included watching the cars in our parking lot from the windowsill and being forgotten frequently.

In other words, I killed him :(

This means I am less nurturing than a desert.

So if people ask when Joseph and I are gonna start having kids, I will just reference the aforementioned incident and ask them if they think that would be very responsible at this point.

I've killed many a plant in my marriage but my kids are still alive (barely). No worries, kids are better at fending for themselves than plants are. Thank heavens. ;)

How do you kill a cactus? You only have to water it like, twice a year! Remind me to never have you watch my pet camel.....

Hahaha. Paige, despite the sad post, you make me happy. Even though I don't think Bud feels the same.

Snort. It wouldn't be so bad if you were less nurturing than a dessert, but apparently you can spell.

I have killed many fish in my day...and that's why we were so hesitant to start having kids.
